EGG STATUS UPDATE!

When a Drifter takes on a mission, they take it seriously and perform it to its fullest! Therefore, I have taken up the duty of caring for one of the abandoned egg children!

So far, my babysitting knowledge has shined through! The egg is as happy as a clam (How odd to say...) and I have discovered it has a name! It started repeating the word "Jota" which I could only assume was its name.

That being said, I would like to report that so far this mission seems like a true success!

How are the rest of you doing?

My egg is doing well. I took her for a short flight last night and she slept right through it.

Yes. I'm capable of short-distance flying thanks to my wings. Though I seem to have limits on how far and high I can go.

I'm glad to hear you and your egg are doing well, Miss! Are you the Virginia-san that Harada-kun mentioned the other day?

Anyway, mine and Yamanami's egg is fine. We named him Toshi, and then his namesake came and showed up here! The egg is...more well-behaved, honestly, but I'm very happy to know he's safe and around. Toshi-kun has been making good friends with Okita-kun and Hijikata-kun's egg, too, since they left it with us for some reason last night.

It's less fun than it sounds. In addition to my wings, I can sing like one. The downside is my tail feathers getting in the way, my bird feet, and having a bird's dietary habits.

Likewise! I'm Kondou Isami. I'm Harada-kun's commanding officer, though our numbers aren't exactly what they were back in Kyoto.

If your egg wants to come and play, I'm sure Toshi-kun would be glad to have a new friend! Jouji will probably be going back to his parents sometime soon when Okita manages to wake Hijikata up , so all the better to have some new company!

Come to think of it, I haven't met Harada-kun's egg...I think his partner's been keeping it most of the time.
