Sixth Wind [Drone Filter]
Of Jack Smith is there to keep an eye on Jane Smith as part of his job, and everything else I've heard is true...
At the party, I lost my cool and almost slapped Jane for comments she was making about my father. She didn't know what she was doing, though. I had no right. But the moment I tried to slap her, a small blade manifested in my throat. I could barely talk, much less continue my confrontation.
... Instinctively, I drew my gun on her. But the look in her face... she was absolutely terrified. Drones don't show fear, right? Not that kind. It was sincere and real and... I couldn't do it. I couldn't pull the trigger. What's more, in spite of my anger, and in spite of pointing a gun at her head, she helped me. If it weren't for her making a call to the doctor, I would be dead.
