Third Wind

You know... something I've thought a lot on lately. We're all from different worlds right?

I'm wondering... what state are your worlds in? Are their forests? Farm land? Lakes? Oceans?

I've never seen an ocean myself... only read about them. And the only lake I ever saw was in Yggdrasil. Trees alone are exceptionally rare... Tillable farmland, too. It's really strange and in some ways beautiful just to see so much healthy flora here. So much water to use...

Sorry, I'm just feeling a bit strange lately, is all.

If the stories I have been told are to be believed...then I would answer yes to all of the aforementioned, although I have yet to see to some of these things for myself...

Why is that, if I can ask?

I was...quite busy. I did not have much time to call my own, given the tasks that would be asked of me...

Would you mind if I asked what those tasks were?

There were several things... exploration of unknown areas... extermination of hostile creatures... gathering of requested items... searching for missing people... only to name a new. Any single person or group that made their living by the labyrinth could expect such things...

Yes, by labyrinth. It is...quite dangerous at times...

What do you mean "by labyrinth"?

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-08-03 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
Where I am from...there is a nearby labyrinth that reaches far below the surface...it attracts many people who wish to see what it holds. Thanks to this labyrinth, the town prospers both by the business of hopeful would-be explorers...and by the resources brought back to the surface by the successful ones...

I have to admit, it's got ME curious.
