Twelth Wind [ phone / action 847 Goldberg ]

Now that I've got the stable fixed up after that IDIOT nearly wrecked it and scared Quicksilver half to death, I discover I've got a bit of free time.

Seeing as I'm honestly getting a bit rusty -Her battle with that man at the diner and the one at the dairy a month back was proof enough.-, I feel it's time I started practicing more with my gun skills. If anyone's willing to help me practice, I'd be mighty grateful. Any self respecting Drifter's got to be quick on the draw and true of aim, so I'm not going to shame myself by letting these skills go to waste. So who's up for it?

-Which means later in the day she'll be setting up targets in her yard. Cans, old bottles, and other small objects. She goes to great lengths to make certain they are at odd angles one normally wouldn't be shooting at. Which is why she's setting up tomato cans in the gutters.-

-The last shell casing hits the floor, and Virginia spins both pistols before once again holstering them.-

Hm....

Fair loss, I guess.

The trick is in how I reload. -She pulls a few more bullets from her belt to demonstrate.-

-In one swift motions, she tosses the bullets up towards her chest. The gun, with its cylinder out and open, is pulled across her chest at the same time. Each bullet slides into its respective chamber almost perfectly. The whole thing seems to happen in the blink of an eye.-

It took nearly ten years of practice to get that technique down.

....just don't show that off in front of the Eldar. I've got enough trouble already and they have an eternity to practice that.

It's a Maxwell family technique, anyways. So it's not like I'd teach it to anyone besides my own child.

Now that you've won your deserved victory, what will it be?

I think I'll cash it in later.

In the mean time, how about I make you some iced tea?

If you have a little bit of....what do they call that, vodka to toss into there, I'd be double happy to have some.

Sounds good enough to me.

Come on in, then!
